We were directed here by a local durring out walk over the hudson. There was no one there when we arrived, so we were skeptical. The explaination for this was that we were arriving just as they opened. We took a chance, the menu was basic but had some different things on it. A little on the pricy side, but we sat down with open minds. The wait staff was very attentive, the service was quick and the food was outstanding. We had some salads topped with cajun shrimp, one with a side (huge side) of salmon that was delicious, and a mahi, mahi sandwich. We ordered a bowl of the old bay chips and were not disappointed! We followed up our delicious lunch with a slice of their peanut butter/chocolate torte and a slice of carrot cake which were both heavenly served alongside a nice steaming cup of cappucino. Lunch, wine, dessert, extras came out to $40.00 per person, with a very nice tip included so we weren't disappointed. The setting is beautiful, the food was above average but not over the top. I'd go back again, we really enjoyed our visit to Ice House.
