Description: Mill House Brewing Company opened in the Fall of 2013. For us, it is the culmination of years of professional culinary/hospitality experience, expressive design and construction, and craft beer artistry. Located in the rehabilitated Mill House, Mill House Brewing Company offers a warm, historic and visually appealing setting, casual, yet professional service, food cooked from as close to the source as possible, and artfully crafted ales. For our team, this means the commitment to the amazing farmers, cheese makers, and other artisans that make the Hudson Valley such an amazing place to live. At Mill House Brewing Company, our philosophy is simple: provide a complete Hudson Valley dining experience, showcasing the region's most delicious offerings of food, and beer.

This has become our go to place on drives down to NYC from upstate. Have tried most things on the menu - some of the favorites are poutine, asian chicken salad and ribs. Burgers and pizza are also excellent.
The beer is fantastic, especially the Tripel.
Reasonably priced for the quality.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to tarrytown to check it out. Was very happy with our decision. The 50/50 burger was delicious and the portion of fries was very large to say the least. Fish tacos were also very tasty. Would go back for sure

We had reservations for a Saturday night, which seemed advisable as the restaurant was very busy. Although we were a small group, we were put upstairs with several large birthday parties. Service was good and the food was tasty and plentiful, but it was extremely noisy -- to the point where conversation was difficult. It might be better downstairs, although I doubt it. So don't expect an intimate dining experience, instead something akin to a pub, albeit with an upgraded menu. The mussels were outstanding. The pig and fig pizza was also a hit. Interesting selection of beers to suit almost any taste.

A group of our family members went here over Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time. The beer menu is extensive with informative descriptions for each. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable also. The restaurant itself is several stories high with a lot of seating but reservations are required as it is very popular and fills up fast. The food menu is a bit pricey and consists of an eclectic mix of pub food from various cultures with a Mill House twist and seems to have something to please everyone. Each of us enjoyed our meal, our beer (flights or singly) and we all left in a convivial mood. I am unable to click, for some unknown reason, on servicefood or value but I rate each very good.

You may not like Mill House if you come to text with your friends who happen to be somewhere else, or if you are after romantic, intimate pillow talk over wildly overpriced dainties. But if you want great beer (typically 8 - 10 well-crafted beers on the menu) and stupid-good food, then MHBC is the place. There’s a reason that it’s hard to get in to and somewhat noisy once you do: it’s worth the wait and good food and beer makes people happy. Get over it and join the fun.
Mill House specializes in creating their own sausages and curing meats in-house. They compliment this with very creative offerings (the Pizza Du Jour, or PDJ, is a no-fail), and their hamburgers are a serious threat to your health.
