Whistlewood Farm is one of the most unusual, delightful places we have encountered in our travels. Warm and welcoming, it is situated in the midst of a beautiful horse farm. Comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast are provided with a warm smile. We hope to be back in the future.

Enchanting property with stables, horses, chickens, lush gardens, rolling hills, and a welcoming staff. You lose yourself in the magic...nothing could top making s'mores around a fire together on a starry, starry night, drinking wine and laughing together. It was my last weekend with my daughter before she went off to college, and we made memories....Barbara's pancakes in the morning are not to be missed! Located near the quaint town of Rhinebeck, and all the valley has to offer. Can't wait to return when the fall leaves change color!

Awesome place to stay in Rhinebeck. Luxurious room (I stayed int he carriage house). Beautiful setting. Horses all around you. Peaceful, rolling hills. Great getaway. food outstanding, and hosts are warm and delightful. Very reasonable price. MUCH better than the other hotels in town (including the Beekman Arms).

I have never been at these parts before , so was very impressed by the surroundings.

A wooden house is located in the middle of the meadows and forests of Upstate NYC on the way to Rhinebeck.

From the start I was charmed by the hospitable manner of the host . The place looked cozy and sharp, with a nice spacious interior, filled with good old wooden furniture, mirrors and beautiful plants, substantial breakfast and all the other commodities so familiar and understated.

It is very well kept, organized and has a very relaxing atmosphere. I would suggest it to anyone visiting this area.

Thank you for a great weekend!

We stayed here for two nights and found the place to be charming and relaxing. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and attractive. Our sleep was not perfect - the pillows were either very thick feather pillows or flat feather pillows - nothing in between. I am sure if we had asked we could have gotten more comfortable pillows. Ah well.
