Visiting Saratoga Springs for a conference. Wanted to enjoy a fine dinner with two friends. Called to see if we could get in on Sat. Said they were booked but could fit us in if we arrived soon. Old beautiful restaurant. First class food and staff. Enjoyed wine, appetizers Brussels sprouts, escarole with sausage, & Cesar salad which we all shared. Ribeye steak special was awesome, Desert was pecan bead pudding with butter pecan ice cream so decadent. Perfect dinner.

We booked a room, the romantic package and oh my. We arrived on a beautiful fall weekend ( we live a half hour, if that, away) . Our room was huge with a beautiful view out of the sliding glass door. There was a patio with two Adirondack chairs and we were close proximity to a walking trail. The champagne and chocolates were waiting for us and oh they were good. Our bedroom was huge with a king sized bed and the bathroom was the biggest bathroom I've ever seen with a full shower and jacuzzis tub. Oh did I mention there was another bathroom with a full shower in the living room. It was amazing. Meticulously clean and amazing. A four course dinner was included and it was, as usual fantastic. Huge portions, we brought a lot back to our room which was equipped with a refrigerator. Breakfast was continental with waffles and fruit, English muffins and yogurt. Very nicely done. We will definitely do this again. Close to home get away but it was so relaxing and so beautiful. It was a top rated weekend for us. Thank you Longfellows so much for such a beautiful stay.

We attended a Sunday brunch. Longfellows had a great variety of food and they kept it well stocked during the meal. Great place for a brunch!

Our third year staying at the hotel for Head of the Fish regatta, we at at the hotel restaurant for the first time and it was fantastic! We were a group of 15 plus- or minus- and the staff was very accommodating with us. Food was fantastic. Hotel stay was, as always, wonderful. Love this place!

When we first entered Longfellow’s we were struck by the smell of burning wood in the fireplace. On chilly October night, that really set the stage for a very enjoyable evening. We were seated at a table downstairs by the fireplace. The restaurant was very clean. Jessica, our server, greeted us promptly and was very cheerful, friendly and helpful. My wife ordered the 12 ounce prime rib ($31) and substituted fries for the mashed potatoes. I ordered the turkey dinner ($21) with stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed sweet potatoes and gravy. The prime rib was roasted to an excellent medium rare and the fries were plentiful and crisp. The turkey was moist and had a flavorful herb gravy; the mashed sweet potatoes were creamy, the cranberry sauce with whole cranberries added a nice sweetness and stuffing was excellent. Both meals were superb. A restaurant we’d gladly return to again!
