We had a business lunch here. We picked this place because it was convenient. It has wide selection of regular Italian food; large portions...little too large for lunch. Nothing special about the food. Moderately priced; Prompt service. Plenty of parking place.

Needing a place to eat after a late evening event, we followed advice from a local and came to this place. An unassuming location just off the highway, minutes from Interstate 87 in NY. We were greeted in a friendly fashion. The menu was varied in its choices. Wine bottles had a minimal markup
The food was delicious, the service attentive, friendly and helpful. Imaginative twists on standard Italian menu items. The bread was routine, but everything else was lip-smacking.
Coming home late along the NY State Thruway? grab the opportunity!!!!

In spite of the nasty owner, who was rude and yelled at me for asking for my bread to be heated up, the waiter did everything he could to accomodate me. The food was very good, but the owner's attitude ruined the experience

This is truly authentic, incredible Italian cuisine! The fried calamari appetizer was beautifully crisp and the portion so generous that we thought they might have mistakenly served two orders. A large bowl of house salad followed. The veal saltimbocca was perfect; the gnocchi with spinach & roasted peppers was topped with a coil of delicious "Arthur Avenue" sausage which we guessed was luganega. Again, generous portions. Reasonable prices. Interestingly, red house wines were Chianti and (as we recall) Montepulciano.
Atmosphere is casual, even with the nice touch of white tablecloths but the ambiance could benefit from some sort of screens or plants or dividers to avoid the one-large-open-room style.
Service was perfect. Vincent was expert, friendly, engaging, attentive and accommodating and well acquainted with the extensive menu.
