It’s rare to get service as good as Melissa, but she was probably the best server we have ever had. Her positive attitude and attention to details was amazing. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The food was a bit on the pricey side, especially considering you had to pay extra for salads or sides. I think those should be included with the dinners. The bread was an odd Italian flavor, not traditional. It was served with garlic butter. My shrimp scampi was okay. The shrimp was excellent, large and full of flavor. However, the sauce and pasta really lacked flavor. It needed garlic or something because it was just bland. The steak dish, was exceptional. It was beef medallions in a gorgonzola sauce. It was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly, tasty and the pasta was truly something special.
Most people were leaving with large bags of leftovers, so clearly despite the higher prices you get a lot of food for the money. It was a very popular place on a Friday night and many people seemed to be regulars. Despite a few disappointments, our overall experience was a good one and we would recommend this restaurant and return to try other items on their menu.
