My wife and I ate here on a recent weekend. The front of the the restaurant is used a pizza take out counter. The dining room is up stairs from the take out counter, it idid not appear to be handicapped accessible.
We were seated quickly and brought water and ordered right off. The eggplant parm was decent, The sauce had a bitter tang to it. There was very little cheese in it or on the parm. The seafood combo was very dry, It needed a lot more of the light sauce it was supposed to come with instead of being light on the sauce. It was cooked through and the scallops tasted fresh but it lacked ant seasoning at all, no garlic or anything else that i could taste.
Unfortunately the waitress never returned after delivering the meals so we could not ask for extra sauce.
Angottis is a Syracuse mainstay but I think the kitchen may be living on its reputation earned years ago. I would not return.
The meal with on drink tax and tip ran $44.

The atmosphere is a very casual family setting. The food is homemade and wonderful. Large portions and reasonably priced.
Would defininitely recommend this restaurant. .

Service was good & prices are very reasonable but what's the old saying, you get what you pay for? Bread was stale, pasta was watered down, sauce too heavy & meatballs tasted like they came from the frozen section at Cosco. Broiled haddock, over cooked & rubbery. Very disappointing for a place that looks like your Italian grandmother is cooking Sunday dinner in the back. Best thing I was served? The $3.50 wine. Would not recommend

Angotti's is one of those restaurants where there is never a question as to whether or not your meal will be good. Its home cooked deliciousness. I personally always order the Baked Ziti with the works or "loaded" - that means meat sauce, mozzarella, and ricotta. Huge portion and ubder $10! My husband is a big fan of the veal parm. The restaurant is small, and on the weekends you could wait a while, but certainly worth it. This is not a fancy place so if you are looking for atmosphere this is not the restaurant for you. But if you are looking for great food at a great price, you must stop by!

Decent food, sauce is a little on the heavy side. Bread very good. Atmosphere needs a little attention. Good prices.
