We stopped here briefly as it was on the way to the Greenwich Interpretation Centre. There were some souvenirs available, drinks and some nice hand made jewelry that is made onsite. The owner was friendly. Worth a visit.

The Confederation Trail has spectacular scenery. We rode out to the National Park on quiet country roads with only a small amount of traffic and great views of the Bay. Definitely ride out to the last bike rack. The trail out of the beach includes a well-constructed wooden boardwalk and a floating boardwalk. The views of the Bowles Pond, the dunes and the Bay were worth the ride/walk. Next we rode from St. Peter's Bay almost to Morell on the actual trail. The Trail consists of crushed rock and was easy to ride with our rented road bikes. Again, wonderful views of the Bay. We'd recommend starting with this trail. One bike was in tip-top condition and comfortable; the other bike was nearly new and everything worked well except the brakes screamed on descents. Just needed a little adjusting. Rental staff was friendly and steered us to a great lunch spot within walking distance--Rick's Fish and Chips. We would recommend bikes renting bikes here.

Wanted to rent bikes, got the job done. Was greeted kindly enough and helped with a map and ideas. Then brought over to the bikes and helmets and told to pick one of each out, given a bottle of water and sent on our way. Lots of knick knacks and t shirts for purchase. They tout crafts, arts, snacks but there was little evidence of anything of the sort.

We came upon St. Peters Bay Craft and giftware because it was the closet from our hotel and the Confederation Trail. People were very friendly, but we're finding out everyone in Nova Scotia is friendly! The bikes were OK. Helmets didn't fit right after trying on a couple and the owner did not seem anxious to make sure it was correct. My husbands bike's seat kept twisting nad the handlebars kept pushing down. Nothing that could not have been taken care of before we left on the trail but after you're in to it you don't go back to get it adjusted. When we dropped off the bike , I perused the shelves for some intersting gifts to bring home and found nice pewter items.

Thank you for your review; As you know helmets are included in all bike rentals, so we do care to ensure proper fit of all our equipment. If you were uncomfortable with your helmet, then it would have been replaced immediately. I noted you're husbands complaint about the handlebars which could have happened on the ride. The bike was located and repaired before it was rented again.
We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction when equipment is rented.
