Close proximity to the beach, friendly staff, and clean rooms. We enjoy visiting the Fenwick Islander at least once a year! The motel is a short drive to the other DE beach towns…Bethany, Rehoboth, Lewes and Dewey, and also right on the OCMD line, so it’s the perfect location for shopping, dining, bar hopping, etc. We look forward to returning next year!

This motel is a wonderful, friendly place with a family atmosphere. They were very accommodating considering my severe allergies. Easy and close walk to the beach. And in an area where you can walk to many establishments.
The room was dusty and the bath tub was not clean. The filters in the air conditioner were covered in dust and dirt. The carpet is old and dirty looking. The corners of the mattress were ripped. The blankets were not soft at all. There was a light bulb burnt out. There wasn’t a screen door on the balcony.
Friendly staff, great location and decent price. The bedding was okay, mine was torn slightly. The bathroom was alright…flies seem to come from somewhere in the bathroom and kept getting into the room. The location of this establishment and what I paid for my stay was great and worth it for my and my daughter’s first time to Fenwick Island.
The reviews said the hotel was clean but it was filthy. We had to find housekeeping because the room phone didn’t work. It smelled clean when we walked through the door but that bathroom was disgusting. I showered with shower shoes. There was also a leak by the window but we didn’t see it until we were leaving. The staff was nice.
The Motel was clean and convenient for a short 3 night stay, which is hard to find in OC. Staff was very friendly, except one older woman who was rude. In all, it was above my expectations for the money.
