Room was dingy, smelly and not well cleaned. The bathroom faucet was covered with spatter from previous guests and there was hair on the door and in the re was a seal on the toilet, but I cleaned the seat myself to be sure it was sanitary. Do not recommend this hotel. The front desk staff was very pleasant but that could not make up for the room.

When we are in Fenwick we always stay at the Islander Hotel. We love the location. We always get a room with a balcony overlooking the canal. It is so peaceful in the morning and evening, and ocean is right across the street.
This motel is a great place to stay! The property is well-maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is exceptional! They go out of their way to ensure their guests have a great stay. We love the location also. It's close to the beach and to areas where we can bicycle.
we absolutely love it here. this is our 9th year staying here. The staff is amazing to deal with. Our room is always available for early check in as well. The location Is ideal for the private beach access
Motel is definitely older. If you go, make sure you bring glasses and plates if you need them, they're not supplied even though they have small kitchenettes. There is no elevator, so make sure your luggage isn't too heavy - the third floor is a bit of a climb with heavy luggage.
Overall, my stay was great. The entire staff is great and very helpful. We have already booked our room for our 2023 trip. Great location and the Fenwick Islander is our go-to-place. The location is great, the beach is right across the road, we always get a water view room and it is a beautiful view. The Islander is centrally located and everything you would need is within walking distance.
