A great site in a lovely area, smack in the middle of the vineyards! Very friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, facilities spotlessly clean, great bar and restaurant with good tasty food. Our pitch was on the lakeside which provided lots to watch and some serious fishing is available if you're an enthusiast. Most pitches are of a good size and are sheltered by trees which is very welcome in hot weather. We particularly appreciated the free wifi coverage in the restaurant/bar area ( provided that you bought a drink). I recommend taking advantage of the free vineyard tour which is in walking distance - this is very interesting and given by a family who are obviously passionate about their craft and you don't have to buy any wine although the prices are very reasonable considering the quality. The free shuttle bus into St Emilion is great, the town itself is stunningly beautiful - if a little touristy! Not surprisingly every other shop seems to sell wine!! A walk around the perimeter provides some excellent views.

Thoroughly recommended

Really well maintained campground. Lots of free activities for kids including paddle boats, outdoor chess, play ground and kids club. Terrific base to explore vineyards. Lots of thought put in to make a pleasant stay - like kids colouring tables, local wine and produce, information on cycling and other activities. Highly recommended.

We had stayed here for the past 5 years. This site is really clean and the pitches are all quite large. Our two kids loved it and were never bored as there was plenty to do. The only down side is it can be quite a drive to get to some the attractions past Bordeaux, but its still so good. I'm glad we have booked to go in July this year again.

Great site. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean. Lots to do in a stunning location. We stayed in September and the site was quiet but all facilties were open. Free transportation, even for the dog, to the village of St Emilion which is beautiful. Reasonably priced but 5€ for the dog. Swimming pools as warm as a bath. Would definitely recommend.

I can recommend this site to anyone with a caravan . Very clean with big pitches . The facilities where good with everything you need in site . As a holiday site it can get noisy but not excessive . A little on the pricey side 28 euros a night 2 persons a car and caravan with electric .
