Stayed here one night on our way back to Perth from the Pilbara. A great little oasis in the desert. The thermal bath was especially pleasant after a long drive. Enjoyed the home-cooked meal chatting to other travellers. Good value for money.

We enjoyed our stay at Wooramel, the campsite has a great vibe, with a communal fire and areas to sit and chat to other campers. The hot springs are really cool, lovely and warm but beware, we did turn orange after a while! The campsite is well lit at night and the showers are reasonably warm. We did the Wednesday communal dinner and enjoyed it.

We sort of enjoyed the glamping experience! It rained and was windy during the night and that made for broken sleep… just one of those things! However the dinner was fun and we enjoyed meeting new people. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Beautiful trees, wide waterless river bed and artesian spas. Great adventure

Room tip: Remember there’s no electricity. Meals are available Monday’s and Wednesday’s but you must book ahead and bring your own plate and cutlery.

We stayed here for two nights with our two small children in our caravan. We booked a riverside campsite which comes with your own fire pit (you can buy a bag of wood for $20 or bring your own in). When you arrive, you're told to pick any site with a "blue number" and off you go. I did find it unnerving the first time to pick our own site as I didn't know "what was good".... but we worked it out and found a fantastic spot near a perfect climbing tree and not to far from the toilet/showers.

It seems like a nice community feel here and everyone seems up for a chat as there are a lot of communal tables etc

The hot springs were the best part. They have four set up that they drain daily. It was a nice way to warm up in the morning and we took a few drinks up in the afternoon and had another soak. Don't wear anything light coloured in there as it will turn orange given the high mineral content of the water.

We loved winding down and sitting by the fire with the kids roasting marshmallows. The kids ran wild all day and were super tired by night - perfect!

The toilets and shower were clean. It's worth paying a few extra dollars to get a riverside campsite over the flats or grass.

Room tip: Get there as early as you can as 2pm seems to be the time a lot of people arrive.

We booked to stay here as soon as the campsite opened for bookings earlier this year. We booked 2 river side sites next to each other. When we arrived the place was packed and we were told to pick any sites in the blue area. All the river side sites were taken. It appeared that people had been told to pick a site, so obviously they picked the best going. If people book, they should be given their booking. Also not nearly enough toilet or wash facilities for the amount of people staying.
Will not be returning.

Room tip: Disabled campers may have a problem accessing toilet and wash facilities. Very difficult terrain to walk particularly if muddy.
