Description: Copperhill, is a Modern American restaurant, that creates an upscale dining experience in a contemporary and casual atmosphere. Set in a storied 125-year old Victorian farmhouse, Chef Gregory Kearns has restored the space to its farmhouse roots but with a sophisticated and modern aesthetic. The vibe is lively and approachable in both the porch dining room and the Tap Room alike. Copperhill is available for special events and large functions.

Dreamy experience at Copperhill - will gladly visit again, bring friends and recommend. Decor is a bright mix of charming rustic and clean contemporary, which manages to feel fresh and up to the moment, as well as homey and welcoming. We found everyone polished and courteous, everything presented beautifully, cooked perfectly and each component on the plate complemented the overall dish. Appetizer portions are quite generous! Unlike most places an appetizer and entree was bit too much food. Next visit we will nibble from the “sharing” dishes on the menu and then have an entree. We sat in the front which is along busy Hillside Ave, but the smart screening on the windows is bright and open while buffering patrons from the street just a few yards away. Our server and all his attentive backup staff never let us want for anything. Their charming smiles and kindness added to the welcoming feel. Someone in the kitchen and running the show really cares and pays attention to the details. Recommended!

Went for lunch and really liked the look of the place- sort of farmhouse/industrial modern. Hadn't been here in years since it a traditional restaurant (La Marmite) and favorite of my in laws. The service was very friendly the food was just average.
Wish it lived up to the vibe of the restaurant ...favorite bite was a fried oyster nacho. Maybe could get a better idea of the place if we went for dinner....it's hard to judge sandwiches but if I had to they were just okay.

Visited tonight with two other couples, and had a fabulous experience. Both the food and service were wonderful and we were never rushed. We shared poutine, the peppers, the figs wrapped in bacon and the olives. Everything was outstanding. For the next course our table tried the bratwurst, crab toast, salmon, crab special and the ramen noodles. All portions were sized well, and all were happy. For the next course, two ordered the skirt steak, one had lamb and three had the cauliflower steak. By this point we were stuffed and could not think about ordering any dessert.

It was all yummy, and again the service was superb - thanks Sean! Will definitely be back:)

We recently had a lovely dinner to celebrate an important family birthday at Copperhill. We were all impressed by the updated decor. It was early in the evening so the open dining area was fairly quiet and we could enjoy conversations in peace. Each of our entrees were delicious. The chef showed a creative flair with use of local ingredients to put a new twist on some favorite dishes. Two of us enjoyed the scallops with morels and baby peas, and had to share with others so that all could experience the flavors. We were equally pleased with the excellent service. Our waiter was extremely attentive and our meal was brought out by multiple servers. Overall, we all agreed that Copperhill deserves the highest rating.

We were loathe to try Copperhill which transformed the space of the tired and predictable La Marmite because much of what we heard and read suggested it was trendy and pandered to a young hip crowd with locally sourced food and lots of vegetarian options. On a whim we decided to give it a shot. We are now believers! It was one of the best meals my friends and I have had in a long time. From start to finish Copperhill didn't miss a beat. If you go the blistered peppers are a must to start, the panzanella salad is a substantial portion and delicious (friends felt the caesar kale was also very good). The crab toast was nothing short of amazing. Entrees we has were skirt steak and the clams, farfalle, 'nduja and fava beans. All bursting with flavor and delicious. Portions on everything we ordered were very generous except the clam and farfalle portion which could have been a bit bigger. Desserts were a really innovative strawberry shortcake and a salted caramel sundae. All in all our meal was a grand slam from start to finish. Don't let the wine list on the website discourage you (as it did me)--- so much more variety on the real wine list. Drinks were all great too. Our server Michelle was professional and attentive. Her attention to detail really took this meal to still another level. Do yourself a favor and go to Copperhill. I wish I could give it more stars.
