Flavorful food and nice staff. Delicious and inviting menu, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with mozz and pesto. My fiance ordered the Shakshuka. Both were great and came out in good time. My fiance loved the Turkish coffee that came with his meal. Conveniently located and adequate seating between downstairs and upstairs. Staff refers to the upstairs as Loft seating; however, don't let that discourage you from sitting there, it is perfectly comfortable.

Fresh and delicious flavors with well seasoned food. There were a lot of appealing dishes on the menu and helpful notes for the GF party member. With the small plates as a part of the entree we had a filling meal. Delicious and fun dessert. Drinks were uneven (1 good, 1 not so), there was a little mix up/ delay and the cocktails took a little long to arrive. Overall would go back, really good meal.

We have frequented this charming restaurant for 40 years and it has been consistently excellent. The location, ambiance, appointments, food, staff, and menu are all fantastic. From vegan to barbeque, everything is exquisitely prepared by owner master chef with quick friendly service, generous portions, and fresh tantalizing culinary selections. Each dish can be individually crafted to your request, and the “specials” are always a good choice. The bar and wine rack are well stocked and serve freshly squeezed juices. Tip: Sounds strange but for giggles, check out the immaculate restroom, you’ll see! Do not miss this opportunity to treat yourself. Moderate prices and reservations are recommended. Ask for a window table.

Saturdays in the Fall in the town of Woodstock NY are busy times, and all of the local eateries are hopping from noon until dark. We haven't been to Woodstock since the early 70s, but remember Joshua's as being the great new place in town. It was then, and it still is.
We arrived before dinner began being served but that didn't phase us because there was enough on the "brunch" menu to satisfy us. Opening with a Thai Coconut Mushroom Soup that was deep of flavor and just enough heat to make it great. We also decided to go with a variety of things to share, like the sampler plate of middle eastern goodies like hummus, baba ghanoush , stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh, and warm pita to scoop it all up with. A nice Gnarly Head pinot noir paired nicely with the finger food until the moussaka and zucchini cakes were served. The moussaka was one of the best we've ever tasted with lamb as the meat ingredient of the dish. The zucchini cakes were tasty but low key next to the other foods we were eating, but they worked nicely with the yogurt sauce that was served with them.
Overall, we enjoyed the food very much along the view from the upstairs dining room so that we could watch the Autumn activities on Tinker Street. The décor is a little sparse, but this is not something that is important to us. Service was solid and attentive. With great food, how much more can you ask?

Had a meal for 4 last night which was delicious and a very varied menu. I had grilled salmon with pomegranate which like all the entrees was served after warm pittas and Greek dips then a salad before the mains. Everyone rated their food highly. The room was a little cool but the waitress quickly put that right. Highly recommend and such a relief to get away from burger and chips!!
