I've stayed twice at the Beaufort Inn and both times the Inn was clean with good service. The rooms are a little dated but, clean and the location is hard to beat! You can walk to local restaurants and shops. The free breakfast the Inn offers is great, I really enjoyed it.

The Beaufort Inn is a comfortable, friendly motel in Beaufort, NC. This is not to be confused with the same city name in South Carolina! I'm told that the pronunciation of the NC town is "beau" as in the actor Beau Bridges, where as SC is Beau as in "beautiful" or "bew". Funny!

My room is spacious with a sitting area that has a sofa and desk. There are plugs for electronics in the base of a desk lamp. The bed is comfortable, the room is clean and service is great. Breakfast was included, and while it is a limited menu, the breakfast pie was delicious.

Beaufort is a friendly little town on the water, the outer banks of NC, not too far from Cape Lookout, which is accessible by ferry.

I was told Beaufort, NC was voted the best small town in America last year. It's a charming place, and understandable why it would be on that list.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a bay view, but there's not a big marina, so I don't think the view is worth the extra money.

Very nice welcome. Great coffee and cookies. Room was very small with double bed. View was the parking lot. Noise from floor above. Very over priced. Enjoyed the swing by the water. Enjoyed the walk to town.
I guess I was expecting a nice room like we get in Charleston,

for the same price.

This was our third stay at this delightful inn. It is very well maintained and serves a very good breakfast, This time we stayed in a "junior suite" on the water which was spacious and very comfortable except for the sleeper sofa which was not very comfortable for sitting which was all we used it for The balcony with two rocking chairs was nice for occasional sitting and viewing the waterway. The inn is extremely clean and well appointed with an excellent location and a friendly staff. .

Room Tip: We have stayed in a "junior suite" and in "deluxe king" rooms which are probably more spacious than the standard rooms. Rooms on the waterway have balconies with two rocking chairs

Staying at the Beaufort Inn is like staying with family, in a good way. We were greeted enthusiastically, made to feel at-home, and were comfortable and relaxed all weekend. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. The outdoor sitting area is wonderful for a morning or end of the day conversation. We are return visitors, and will go back again.
