Dinner with friends on a Thursday evening. It's a neat restaurant with a great atmosphere. Service was fair; server only checked on us once after she brought our meals. Food was good but not great. Mushroom ravioli, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, and grilled salmon. We all enjoyed our food & servings were ample.

Each visit to Blowing Rock requires a stop here for dinner. The service is outstanding; and the menu has a nice variety of entrees. The wine list is extensive. My only complaint is they always seem to run out of dessert. We had a reservation when they opened for dinner, and only had 2 items for dessert.

We recently ate at Storie Street Grille. The town was very crowded as the leaves were turning. We have eaten at Storie several times before and had great food and service. The food was very slow in coming for everyone, but our server and the manager kept us up to date and were very apologetic. When we did finally get our meal, it was wonderful. Our server reduced our bill because of the long wait. This gesture was not necessary, but a sign of how important it is to have patrons leave happy with their experience at Storie. We will definitely have lunch again at Storie.

We dined at 6pm on Friday, and the lasagna they served my husband looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since Wednesday afternoon. I had the stuffed portabella mushroom. It was bland at best. The service was good and they were apologetic for our disappointment in the food.

We just ate tonight at the Storie Street Grill -- a Wednesday night --and the place was packed. We sat on the back patio -- pleasant for a cool October evening. Autumn took care of our every need. She is an attentive and pleasant waitress. The food was LUSCIOUS. :). (Yes, that's what I said.). From the appetizer to the dessert -- we had a WONDERFUL experience. THANKS FOR A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE! Deb & Carla
