Sal's Lasagna is the best...hands down! Their breadsticks are awesome, and the marinara is so good you will want a cup all your own to use as a dip.
Sunday Brunch is also a good choice...something for everyone!

We went to Sal’s with our son for Elon’s Family Weekend. We wanted a traditional Italian meal and that is what we got. Service was attentive but not smothering. Portions were huge. I had the Italian trio and each (veal parm, fettucini alfredo, and lasagna) was exactly what you would expect. By the end of the meal we were musing we would like such a restaurant at home. Only our 20 year old son could finish his entree and so he will have another meal or two this week. We didm’t have the pizza but it looked wonderful. This is not a white table cloth kind of place—standard Italian restaurant decor, not too fancy. Enjoy!
Had I written this review after my first visit, it would have been glowing oth praise and 5 stars, after my second visit, I would have said the food was good, the service inattentive. After our third visit, I have to say I will never set foot in this place again.
We went in a Saturday late afternoon. There was no ne else in the place, yet we were seated at a table that had not been cleaned. Waitress wipes it down, and says she'll be back to dry the table. Comes back to "dry" the table with a ... Wet towel. Finally grabs a wad of napkins and tries only what she can reach. She takes our drink order.
We have no flat wear or napkins. There is a lone salt shaker in the table. We order salads, and are told they are out of romaine, but have side salads. We get our salds, and have to ask for silverware and napkins
My salad had some sort of Beatle in it, which sadly I didn't notice until it was in my mouth. I spit it out, tried not to throw up at the table, the sever was waiting another table so we got up and left - stopping to tell the cashier where we had been seats, and why we were leaving.
Her reply was barely an acknowledgement, as if this type of thing happens all the time.
Service across all visits, unacceptable. This last experience negates anything positive I might have thought about the food. Cleanliness questionable.
Lasagna was good. Tuesday specials. Bread was SO good. Service was okay.
But the reason we gave it a one , is that the place is SO RUN DOWN LOOKING.
They need to freshen up the place.
We think it has been since the 80s when they last dressed it up.
