We stayed in the hotel two nights while attending a family wedding in the area. The facility itself is fine, as are many other hotels in the area, I am sure. But you excel in the attitudes, the efficiency, and the helpfulness of your employees. We have traveled a lot both domestically and internationally and rarely have we encountered such excellent staff members - front desk, housekeeping, and others were all most pleasant and helpful.
A friend of ours got married and this hotel was the hotel used for the wedding parties and friends. Great location. Dog friendly but we left fido at home. Highly recommended. Iwill make mention that the breakfast was not the best so we went elsewhere. We are assuming this is mainly due to covid regulations.
Hyatt place was close to all UNC fields. Great rate provided and was easy enough to get in and out of for sessions. We enjoyed the couch and living room space. Laundry services needed to be more accessible. Cater to athletes at breakfast a little more .
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Good location for traveling to UNC, Chapel Hill, close to a lot of dining choices, and felt safe.
While relocating to NC, our extended stay here has been extraordinary! James and his entire staff have been more than accommodating to all of my family’s needs. They’ve been very welcoming and would recommend visiting the Hyatt Place Chapel Hill/Southern Village to anyone searching for an A+ hotel.
