I arrived late, on the day of check in, because I was stuck, in traffic. I was not aware that I'd be checking in late, but due to a four hour traffic back up I arrived after 7p. There is a sign, in the lobby that reads no late check in. There was no one to check me in, for approximately five minutes. Once we were checked in we learned that the elevator did not work. We were, on the first floor so that was not a problem. However, other guest had to take the stairs. They advertised free breakfast. That was not true. There was no breakfast. My big issue, with the property is that it is not safe, for seniors. While trying to take a shower My husband literally tripped over the bath mat, in the tub. He fell, out of the tub and onto the floor, It was horrific. He had no way to pull himself up. No, he does not drink. The tub has a safety bar located o the outside, on the left. There is nothing inside, to prevent a fall or to grab onto, if you fall. He was embrassed so I did not call for help. The next morning I went to the front desk, to make an incident report. I was handed a blank sheet, of paper to complete. The person manning the desk told me that he was filling in and he did not know where anything was. He could not find a formal incident report, He refused to give me his full name and when I asked, for a manager there was none available. He told me his name was Tony and this is not his regular work location. H My complaint was not taken seriously. My husband was not hurt, but he could have been. I booked a five night stay. However, I immediatley checked out. No one asked about my husbands condition, there was no apology, and there was not an offer to change to a more secure room. This place is dangerous, the staff check in and out were very unprofessional and uncurteous, in my opinion. I will not stay at this location nor do I recommend it ti anyone else. There was a court yard, of some tye outside of my room. It was noisey. People were gathered there for drinks andsocial activity.
