Amazing staff from management, front desk crew, night desk clerk, housekeeping, breakfast staff. All made us welcome from day one. Week one of our stay made us feel so welcome and at home to choose to come back for a second week! Very clean, location is close to everything one would need, campus, hospital, restaurants, etc. We came with a toddler and the roller coaster of back and forth to the hospital and everyone was so professional, but sensitive to our situation. My grandson had a great time getting to know all staff and everyone took sincere joy in taking time to smile and say hi to him.
I've seen the kindness as other patrons check in that are here to be close to the hospital And I have also seen the professionalism as patrons check in for Birthday parties, wedding parties, UNC football weekend patrons.
We felt very at home and it's a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

This is for Hampton Inn Chapel-hill NC. I was charged for another persons room and called Ebony this morning to tell her what had happened. The gentlemen in from of us checking in had a hard time using the credit card machine. When we checked out on 9/28 I questioned the lady as to why I had three pending charges from Hampton Inn. I was told there must have been a mistake and two of the pending charges would fall off the visa. Well only one charge fell off and both the other charges were posted to the credit card. So I called Monday because I had to speak to a manager (Ebony) about the charges on my credit card. She was rude and very disrespectful and kept telling me it was the banks fault etc etc. She told me that someone else would never be charged for another persons room…. this was a lie. She was not listening to anything I said and refused to even believe me. After 28 minutes of this banter I asked to speak to someone else. The next manager came on the phone and ran our credit card number and saw there was the additional charge for the guy that checked in before us, literally like I had been saying all along. I work in customer service everyday and would never treat anyone with the amount of disrespect Ebony showed me this morning, totally unprofessional and completely disrespectful on every level.I’m still upset about it 6 hours later. So no I will never ever stay at this hotel again and will let everyone know how we were charged for someone else’s room as well until my dying breath.

I have been staying at this hotel several times per year for the last 10 years and I have never been disappointed. The staff is always very helpful, the hotel is very clean, and the location is great.
