First of all, the front desk staff at this site are amazing, always patient, pleasant and professional. Special shout out to Zykia (did I spell that right?). Actually all of the staff are friendly and helpful. Suites are laid out well and good-sized, bedding is perfect. Our rate included breakfast, but their breakfast is really not worth it. Eggs and some form of meat put in a plastic warmer for most of the morning. There's a Hardee's and a Dunkin' right nearby, where you can get real food.
Overall, a good place, convenient to Durham, Chapel Hill and RDU, with a great staff...only two quibbles---
1. We're a quarter of the way through the 21st century and they still don't have any treads on the bathtub floor. Hang on while showering, folks.
2. A barn door separating the bathroom from bedroom is a nice aesthetic, but when the installer doesn't level the door, it can't stay closed and then, well it's not really a door anymore

The reception so nice and so helpful while we check in until we check out . Thank you so much for awesome service . We defenitely will be back here when we around this city . They prepare to go bag in lobby , which is have bread , jam , water n an apple inside it . I stay at suite room . The room so clean , and big . The towel so clean . Love to stay here . Recomended !!!!

My number one requirement for a hotel is that the staff/management listen to the guest. That doesn’t happen here. I came down for breakfast, and at 6:30 in the morning the television was blaring an ESPN game from the day before. I asked the front desk if we could change to the local news. No. All we can watch is ESPN. I asked to watch any news station, local, BBC, CNN, headline news, good morning America, Fox, I just didn’t wanna watch an old basketball game. I was told that he would not put on anything other than ESPN because he didn’t like politics. Later that day, I spoke to the manager, and the manager said we are a sports hotel. He said he would not change the ESPN. I asked if this was a corporate policy or written someplace, he said, no, he just thought it was a good idea. On top of this, the key given to my room didn’t work, the digital key didn’t work, and I had to go the desk to get it fixed. The hot water valves in the bathroom are backwards and nobody understood that was an issue because when you put it on hot water, all that comes out is cold. You have lots of options in the area I would never stay at this hotel again
