All reviews front desk recommend this hotel nice hotel the outer banks within walking distance in town late check would definitely stay here again the hotel staff rooms were very clean visit family free breakfast yogurt sausage staff was very friendly business trip ihop

When you go to check in and the hotel staff are as pleasant and helpful as the folks at this hotel you know you are going to enjoy the stay. I am in a wheelchair and someone at the front desk and the maintenance man carried my stuff from the car to the room and when I checked out carried it back. The room uses proximity keys which is very helpful for those with crippled hands. The room was ADA accessible and quiet and nice.

This is a well maintained typical Fairfield with the usual amenities. Two negatives...even though a Marriott member, my request for a curtesy bottle of water was granted begrudgingly. I realize in high seasn you pay more but $200 for a Fairfield?

My family did a last minute reservation online and we didn’t have any trouble checking in.

The only thing we had a slight problem with was that our itinerary stated it’ll only cost around $120 for the night and that’s with tax. An hour after our late check in our credit card was charged $150+ instead. We found out the extra charge was for “just in case” we damage anything in the room but we’d get the money back 2-3 days after we check out. That’s understandable but it would’ve been nice to knw if there was going to be extra fee about anything before we’re charged.

Other than that, everything else (room, breakfast, laundry room, back up generator and check out) was great.

We were travelling through here and we were a family with a couple and one single person. We got a family room and everything was very updated, fresh and nice. The foldout couch could have a slightly thicker mattress to make that bed more comfortable but overall it was a nice stay. They have snacks, beer and wine available for sale downstairs and parking is included in your room. Breakfast was also included and it was hot and very good.

I am Marriott Platinum Elite member and redeemed points for 2 nights.
The check in experience was good and so was the breakfast service.
On the first night purchased a pack of Tylenol from the marketplace. Wanted to return it next morning as I did not use it. The lady at the front desk said she does not have authorizations to process a refund and the manager was not available for 2 days. So there was no way she could process the refund. She appeared to be rude until she realized I was a platinum member.

Never experience this at any Marriott so far. Will choose a different hotel next time.
