Really enjoyed my stay here. This place is older, but kept up very well. The rooms were super clean and comfy, with a nice view of the golf course. Only complaint was that the air conditioner kept the porch wet and so hot you couldn't stay out there long. Breakfast was the selling point. Full breakfast buffet: eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, grits, hashbrowns, fruit, and coffee and oj. None of us could get over it. Highly recommend.

Especially the burgers, which are cooked perfectly to your request. And the large salads are huge, so be prepared. The food is cooked to perfection and the service is great. We did not use the other facilities.

Stayed here for a couple days for a wedding nearby, nice enclosed view of golf course from porch, room was clean and was very spacious. Only thing that was annoying was that rooms are in a detached area, about a mile away from the other properties on site. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend staying here

Great visit....except for the felon. There was a manhunt going on that shut down the national forest we can to see but there were plenty of substitutions. Lots of waterfalls and just down time. The EVGR was clean, comfortable, and hospitable. We loved it. The kids enjoyed the putting green outside our unit. I loved just relaxing with the kids. Pool was very peaceful!

First, the good things: Every employee we encountered was wonderful, helpful, and couldn't have been nicer. At check-in, they give you a nice map of the grounds, tell you everything, and even make suggestions of fun things to do in the area. They golf course is a decent course as well. It does include breakfast which is just "OK" food, but for a free breakfast, it isn't bad. The rooms are very dated, and not all that clean. That is my only complaint. One of our friends staying nearby left a list of things that needed to be done for housekeeping, like changing a burned out light bulb, and nothing was ever done. The pool is nice and they had a pool party there for the 4th. It is a good family place, but don't expect too much from the rooms.
