We had a double standard room on the third floor which was very clean, quiet and comfortable for our short stay. It is only 5 minutes from the airport making it very convenient for late arrivals and early departure. The room had everything we needed including a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. It was also very nice to have the breakfast included in their pleasant first floor room just off the main lobby. If you are too tired in the evening after a long day out, there are restaurants close by, some within walking distance which we found very helpful.
The front desk clerk on the evening shift was very friendly and efficient. The hotel is great for a short stay and I would recommend a room on the third floor.

I was very pleased with our stay at Comfort Inn Asheville Airport. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Do keep in mind it is somewhat close to the airport but overall, you are not really bothered by the air planes taking off.
Your stay will include breakfast. But I was not impressed. The eggs and sausage looked like warm ups so we decided to eat across the way at Cracker Barrel. But if you are on a budget and hungry, their breakfast would do in a pinch.

Room was good, clean, and everything worked, bed was really comfortable as well as the pillows. This hotel has a small parking lot but the staff works with you to get your vehicle in. We were in our truck pulling a trailer and were allowed to park up front along side the curbing as were others with large vehicles. A few of the staff seemed to be a bit non - friendly. Beverly was very helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The breakfast wasn't too bad, after all its a hotel breakfast, but the lady in charge made sure everything was there for the guests, made sure the area was kept clean, and stocked. All in all its a pretty good place to stay. Just be prepared to pay a high price if you go in October when the leaves are turning. They pretty much double the rates for this time period, as well as other hotels. We have stayed there before and probably will again.

Please be aware that this is a pet friendly hotel. The doors are thin enough that you can hear barking dogs. The hotel has only one elevator that is terribly slow. The hotel was a curious mix of renovated and not renovated. The bathrooms are reasonably up to date. The furniture had several nick and dings on them. The carpet and walls are interesting to say the least. One of the pillows had red markings on the back of it and the tv remote would not work on several occasions. It is necessary to flip the lock at the top and deadbolt the door since it did not seem tightly closed. After this stay, I would rather drive further for a decent hotel than stay here again.

We decided on a 3 day road trip to Asheville,Chimney Rock SP and Craggy Mountain to take in the fall leaves and hike. This choice was based solely on location between those sites and a more reasonable price that those surrounding the Biltmore estate. The rooms/breakfast areas were clean, quiet and bed slept great. Staff were very nice and parking was conveniently accessed. I would stay again.
