We visited the Blue Sky Cafe on our way out of town. Fletcher is about 30 minutes south of the Biltmore, which is on the south side of Asheville. It was a perfect stop for a fairly quick, delicious lunch. We showed up about 2:30pm and they were so busy! A good sign. We looked over the menu, which has lots of options, and settled on a buffalo wrap and a hamburger, with sides of potato chips (a small bag of chips) and homemade cinnamon apple sauce. It was all delicious, made-to-order, healthy tasting. It was brought to our table about 10 minutes after ordering. For dessert we enjoyed a slice of peanut butter/chocolate pie, like a Reece's cup pie. It was soooo good, but the slice was small for the price. A light lunch will cost over $20 for a couple, so not cheap eats. But healthy food with a homemade taste is sometimes worth the price.
