On the plus side, the food is pretty good and the service excellent. I had some problems with the menu because I need food that's gluten free (not optional- I have celiac disease) and am also using an extremely low carb diet and exercise to help keep diabetes under control.
So I look for a lot of vegetables plus a little protein, and usually look for a good salad to which broiled seafood can be added. Not on the menu here, though they have a salad bar - small but with a good selection of really fresh ingredients. Dinners of broiled seafood have 2 sides, just one of which can be a SMALL salad bar trip. The only thing you can order along with a large salad bar is soup. The only real option I had for something as simple as a salad with catch of the day on it would have been to order a full dinner plus an unlimited salad bar.
But if you're not an avid salad eater, none of this will affect you. The Quarterdeck has pretty good food and the catch of the day is wonderfully fresh. Very nice people too.
