Came here on a Sunday evening when they opened for dinner. Service was enthusiastic and quick. Enjoyed our server’s Halloween costume too. The live music was a nice touch for dinner service.

We started with some drinks. I had both a pineapple lemonade and a channel marker from the drink menu while my husband just had bourbon on the rocks. We then had the seafood sampler for an appetizer and everything was prepared well. For entrees my husband had the fresh catch special and I had shrimp & grits. The fresh catch was fried well and the fries and coleslaw were good as sides. My shrimp & grits had such good flavor that my husband was sad he hadn’t ordered it also. We’d definitely come back here again.

Restaurant with a seafood market with no fresh seafood. Bay scallops not sea scallops. Pasta dishes with super rich sauces and little seafood. Only two restaurants open on Sunday at this time of year. Picked the wrong one.

Wonderful! We had blackened Mahi (with a beautiful crust) and shrimp and parmesan grits. Loved them both! We had blacked swordfish bites as an appetizer, which were amazing.

Good entrees, drinks, and apps, but for a restaurant in the heart of Hatteras village that was some of the worst "Hatteras Chowder" my wife and I have ever had

We got to the restaurant at 8:35pm (ferry we took was delayed 40 minutes) on a night where their hours said they close at 9pm. When my family walked in the bartender rolled her eyes and then walked over and told me we couldn't have a table. She said there was a major mechanical issue. However, the restaurant was full of tables that were eating and surely we could have been offered a limited selection of things that were available if the full menu wasn't available. She acknowledge everything on the island was closing and sent us on our way. Highly disappointed is an understatement!
