This was our favorite restaurant in OBX. We ate there twice! Each time was sensational. The Shrimp Au Gratin was to die for! Great views and service. Ask for Trevor to be your waiter. He is adorable!!!

We ate at Dinky's twice during our weeklong visit to Hatteras. Fate was smiling on us when we had Trevor as our server the first time, and were able to request him for the second visit too. Outstanding service. The food was excellent. I'm vegan and Trevor communicated with the chef and me to make sure that I got a dish that met my needs and was delicious. My husband loved what he got both times. The only "complaint" was from our 6 year old that they didn't have fries. I take no issue with that!

We were told there was a 30 minute wait so we strolled the marina and property to wait. Within 15 minutes the delightful hostess found us outside and said a table was ready. Our table had a nice view of the waterfront area and the atmosphere was pleasant. We started off with the calamari appetizer and it was excellent, cooked to perfection. Look how nice it was presented in our photo. We also split an incredibly fresh tuna dinner that was again cooked to medium rare perfection. What a chef!! The server was helpful and friendly. Top marks!! Plenty of parking available.
