This property is a bit old but is well maintained and very clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had one small kink in our stay. We stayed in room 221 and realized during the early hours of morning that our room backed up to a major interstate Highway that became a bit noisy once the large trucks began their morning runs. Closing the drapes helped to relieve some of the Highway noise. The property offers a high carb and sugar breakfast (individually wrapped muffins, cold cereal, coffee cakes, danish treats, juices, yogurt and waffles) but was good for a quick pick me up when heading out for the day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A word about the location - this property is very isolated and is several blocks off of the main road up a hill and cannot be seen from the main road which can make it hard to locate after dark.

People make a difference and Marie was AWESOME. When all the reviews are great - the people make it exceptional - Marie is one of those people! I highly recommend the Mountain Inn if you are in the area for a visit or just stopping g on the way to somewhere else.
