St. Paul Mountain Vineyards is just a few miles off of highway 25 in Hendersonville NC and right down the road from Burntshirt Vineyards. The tasting room is big and airy where plenty of people can mingle and relax with a glass of wine, but it has an intimate feel to it. Would recommend the tasting so that you can try all of their different varietals. The local goat cheese on the menu is also fantastic. The best part of the tasting though was the staff. Two wonderful ladies guided us through each of the wines and the history of the vineyard. The Riesling was my favorite of all that we tasted along with the Chestnut Gap. After the tasting we were free to roam through the vines, and there were even picnic tables if you wanted to pack a lunch or purchase food from the tasting room. Great stop off, I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

What a delightful experience last weekend. My wife and I decided to check out a couple of the local vineyards/wineries. St. Paul’s was our first stop and we were not disappointed at all! After a fun hike up Bearwallow Mountain we relaxed at St. Paul's. My wife and I decided to do the tasting and purchased a bottle of their Queen. We had a relaxing time with some friends and ended up making a few more during the tasting and tour.
