Owner description: Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards is a family-owned operation located in the heart of Henderson County's apple country. Nestled on 10 acres of a land grant from England are panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains that the family has enjoyed for generation, and now would like to share with you. The 14 varieties of wine-grape vines grown on the vineyards at elevations of 2,300 and 3,000 feet, along with the cool nights, develop some the best wine-producing grapes in the country. Meticulously growing our fruit allows us to incorporate the unique character of our vineyards into each bottle. Come to a place where you not only enjoy beautiful views with a glass of unforgettable wine, but become part of our family too!

We visited the winery on a Saturday afternoon. They were slammed!!!! (As in very busy) There was a wine and food festival in Charlotte so the winery was short handed. Added to this the beginning of fall and on of the most beautiful days this year and the crowd was large, to say the least. Inspite of this the wine server at our tasting was friendly, informative and patient (with my clearly neophyte approach). The wines were excellent (I have to admit that my tastes should not be taken as "baseline").

My husband, dog and I had a grand time at the vineyards. Derek was a great host and provided lots of info from the history of the vineyard to the wines to some great trails to hike in the area. The wines were excellent. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and purchased several bottles to take home. We went on a weekday with our dog and she was provided with a "drink" too.

spent a great afternoon with friends, enjoyed the wine tasting and relaxing conversation. Music on the patio and a food truck in the parking lot provided everything we needed for a very nice day.

Lovely wines! Covered back area next to Vin yards to enjoy. They don't serve food but do have a food truck with burgers & homemade chips which were very tasty. It was our first time there. I gave it a 4 because there are much prettier landscape wineries around. They say they have a view, but we couldn't find it. Everyone is wonderfully friendly. Told to feel free to pick grapes to eat if you would like. I would recommend the wine tasting for $10. Just be prepared to take a couple hours for them to get them served to you.

Saint Paul's wines always please the palate and in fact, continue to win awards. We always enjoy sitting out on the patio or porch directly in front of the vineyard with friends and family. Saint Paul's is an excellent place for group events with room to accommodate a musician or a group of musicians/performers. We've been there for special events and it was really enjoyable.
