We've been going to Sammy G's for years. We used to go for lunch on a regular basis, but after 4 or 5 experiences of waiting a long time for a server to arrive to take our order, the food taking a loooong time to come out of the kitchen, and then sometimes a long time to pay, we have stopped going to eat here at lunch. My husband has a limited time before he has to get back to the office (which is not far away) and he doesn't like to get stressed during his lunch about making it back on time.
That being said, we do go every month or so for dinner and like to eat at the bar. Dema is a great bartender and server. She's so nice and friendly and knows what she's doing. Another bartender, Butch maybe?, is also very good. Dishes that are consistently good are the salmon with the corn and spinach, the tuna app, royal thai shrimp, salads with the blackened chicken, and several others--I can't find a menu online to review and these are a few I can remember off the top of my head.
They have daily specials at the bar and change up their food menu every so often. Their wine list is good and they have draft beer on tap, including local craft beers. The interior is pleasing and nicely done. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. All in all, a good place.
