Great Brunch late on Saturday with friends. They have drinks and food that really hits the spot when hungry and thirsty. Our server greeted us as we were seated and took our drink orders promptly. She was always there to check on us and make sure we had what we needed.
Food choices were varied, but the dinner menu was not available until after 3:00 P.M. and we had arrived at 2:00 P.M. However there were lunch as well as breakfast items available on the Brunch Menu so we did have a wide verity of choices.
I had the Steak Omelet - roasted top round, mushrooms, and brie, and I chose the Hashbrown Casserole as my side. I thought the omelet was good, but it was really on the small side for the price. My wife had the Goat Cheese, Strawberry and Spinach Salad with Salmon added. The salad itself was excellent, but the Salmon was so small it was not even a full 4 oz serving, once again not a good value for the price.
Two of our friends had the Currituck Benedict and absolutely raved about it. Thye said the Crab was actually Crab and tasted great! Overall thrilled with their selections and love the Mac and Cheese Side and well. Our other friend ordered the Black-Eyed Pea Benedict and said it was delicious. She was very surprised at how good it was and stated she would order it again. She shared her Sweet Potato Fries and, even though I do not usually like sweet potato, these were Excellent; not greasy, well fried and crispy as well as perfectly seasoned.
Based on ALL 5 of our experiences and not just mine and my wife's I am giving this place 4 stars, mine alone would have been 3 stars.
