We stayed in the shoulder season in a efficiency room. We found the room to be about what we expected as we have stayed at other efficiency rooms in the area. We had 2 queen beds, a small 4 person table, small kitchenette, bathroom. The room was compact and not nearly as roomy as the photos on the website, but it was what we expected and adequate for 3 of us. The kitchenette was adequately supplied, but didn't have everything that you might need. You might need to make a run to the dollar store for items like a pizza cutter, or cork screw. Not a big deal, and honestly expected. We found the room to be clean, but maybe not "perfectly" cleaned. There was a lack of cleaning behind the dresser and around the stove. It seems the room is cleaned in about the same way as a normal hotel room, except that it has a stove, a refrigerator, and all the mess that goes along with people cooking. There were a few crumbs and debris under the table as it was obvious that the chairs were not pulled out and the tile floor most likely not mopped. Probably just swept. As I said - it was adequate and pretty much what we expected. Would we stay here again? Yes. But we are not really very "picky" and we plan on doing some cleaning before we even bring in our bags. The location is very good. We will certainly consider Shutter for future stays.
