The staff at the front desk is outstanding. The renovation of the hotel is great & the beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast food is good. However, the only complaint we had is that we were there for 5 days & the room only got cleaned 2 times. The excuse was that we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door. We left one day at 9:30 AM & another day at 10:00 AM. So I guess the cleaning staff felt they did not need to check again after 10:00. Thank goodness the front desk was able to provide clean towels for 3 times. The best part was 1 day we left a tip & it was taken & we got a note telling us to have a nice day, but no cleaning.

Overall it is a nice hotel.

Room tip: We were on the 2nd floor & faced the rear. We were pleased with the room.

The breakfast area was very clean throughout breakfast, floors were spotless! Very friendly staff... Bed was comfortable! Not a luxury hotel, we would stay here again! Easy return to the main roadway..

Hotel is normal IHG hotel. Not worth a $130 price tag which they are charging.

It is clean and comfortable as all IHG hotels are. Only good thing is it’s the best hotel option in Kings Mountain.

Had laundry which is handy but would have been nice to have a pool after a hard days work.

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The rooms have been renovated since our last stay. The king size bed room was cheaper than a room with 2 queens. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine. I would like to have had a bathroom fan/heater but most hotels don't have them anymore. I liked the sitting area in the room also so we didn't have to sit on the bed.

Room tip: King bed rooms have a sitting area.

This is an OK choice if you want an overnight hotel between Charlotte and Spartanburg. The price was consistent with the area (typically $90+/night between Greenville and Richmond). The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was typical of a Holiday Inn Express. The staff was fairly courteous and honored a late arrival. The area is not a tourist destination, but you can find fast food on the other side of the interstate. The on-ramp to I-85 north is poorly marked--not the hotel's fault, but something you should know.
