The Don and I stopped by the park on the advice of a downtown merchant who told us about the bird there that was her grandson's favorite. As we pulled up it was obvious that the site was closed for repairs needed due to the recent Matthew related flood. Nonetheless we were greeted warmly by the park manager who graciously gave us a tour and told us all about the upcoming plans for improvement. We are looking forward to going back.
