When I travel on business, which seems constant now, I try to avoid the chain restaurants. Occasionally I come across these little gems hidden away in a small town.
Tacos El Tio Cheto is one of these.
The service is great, the food outstanding and everyone is friendly. You might want to work on your Spanish so that you can get the total experience of eating here, but it is not a requirement.
The garnish on the table and at the salsa and vegetable bar is fresh and delicious. I ordered off the menu and got a shrimp taco to go with my carne asada taco. Both were served on a pair of perfectly prepared soft corn tortillas.
GO! It's good.
