This hotel is way better than I expected. Front desk helpful and pleasant. Suggested 2nd floor as the rugs had just been redone. Clean and comfortable. Would suggest a little polish on the furniture for the scrapes. Breakfast better than most in a 2nd floor room with lots of light and seating.

This was my most favorite hotel ever. The cleanliness the staff the Beds oh my. Just wonderful place I swear. Stay here if in lincolnton ever. They didn't have breakfast but coffee was good. They are very helpful and on point
This is an average Inn beginning to show its age from when I stayed there about 4 years ago. It's on main road but not readily easy to get into or out due to traffic and other frontal businesses. The front desk was very personable and helpful as needed. The breakfast was standard and good - but it only starts at 7 am on Saturday which delays some folks who want to travel earlier. The room was standard and clean but showed wear. I will stay here again given its present condition.
I am happy to report, we have been working continually to update and improve our property. I hope you will return to us to see our progress.
The hotel was under renovations...which wasn't a huge deal. However, they should make that information known PRIOR! The room wasn't properly cleaned and it smelled horrible. The sheets were not changed on the bed. There was dried blood on the sheets. Even after calling the front desk, they insisted that housekeeping changed the linens. There were a lot of sketchy individuals staying & roaming around the hotel. I would never stay here again, nor will I recommend this location to anyone. I should have gone with my first instinct and stayed across the street.

I sincerely apologize for your impressions of our property. However, there are many things in your review of us that honestly have me a little confused. First off, did you even visit our property? I am pretty certain that I had to obtain a 3rd party authorization from you to use your credit card in your absence as payment for the rooms you booked for company employees coming to town to take a certification class. If you were actually a guest here, then why would you not have produced your credit card at check in?
The "Renovations" you speak of, during your stay date there were a few pieces of tape on the outside of our Front Desk sign with measurements of dimensions for a new place board and there was also a Construction Dumpster that was strategically placed in the corner of our lot so that it would not be noticed. Yes, we have had work done, but during your stay our Contractor was on a family vacation and had cleaned up every sign of his work except the two things mentioned above. This I know for a fact, as I was the one who had the stipulation put in our contract and checked behind him to make sure it was done, however, again, I am truly sorry we did not inform you of the very small amount of tape and the dumpster out of the way and in the corner when you called and made your reservation.
The most baffling discrepancy in your review, if your definition of SKETCHY is 75% of the same people as your employees that you placed here that week, to obtain the Crane Certification, which are men who wear work boots to work, and build our country for a living, so they can support their families and pay taxes then by all means, I will accept "Sketchy" guests, as a description of for our property.
As for our housekeepers, and your sheet issue, each of our dedicated and beyond hard working ladies that make up that department, have continuously worked for us for numberous years (at the shortest time length of 4 years and at most 9 years) remind me constantly, that our guest spend an average of $100 a night (which was discounted for you because of the reason for your stay) that our rooms need to be perfect!! As a matter of fact, when the complaint came through about your sheets in room 309, NO ONE argued with the person who called, and there was someone sent to change those sheets immediately, without any delay!
We actually value EVERYONE of our guest, no matter their social standings. We have a lot of "IMPORTANT" people that frequent our property, as well as the "SKETCHY" people that you refer to, (which are actually men and women who work out of town or attend a certification class, like your employees) My Staff and I will treat each and everyone of both types just as special as the other. We do not see a social difference in people. I honestly, respect the man that will shovel dirt and climb a power pole, because at the end of the day when I go home to running water, power, A/C/Heat and all of the other necessities in life that those "SKETCHY" people made possible, I am THANKFUL!!!! I am sincerely sorry that you don't give the impression of doing the same. Your business will not be missed!
This is as good as it gets for budget-minded travelers. Friendly, on-the-ball staff. Immaculate and well-maintained throughout. Room was roomy, beds were comfy. Generous amounts of towels and pillows. Ironing board and iron available in closet. Hair dryer provided in bathroom along with travel-size toiletries and a coffee maker with coffee filter packs. Excellent coffee (regular and decaf) is also provided in the breakfast room and in the lobby (24 hours). I appreciated that half-and-half creamers are available, not just the powdered kind. Free breakfast has a great selection. Oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, English muffins, bagels, pastries plus do-it-yourself waffles. Didn't try but it looked very easy. Computer available in lobby area to print boarding passes. Couldn't ask for anything more and will return if I'm back in the area again.

Linconlton is a very relax place, this hotel is clean, and front staff is very helpful, they continental breakfast is good, bedroom is clean, beds are comfortable, i really can said i did have a great night on it
