This place reminded us a lot of Pop's Backdoor in Durham -- family friendly and good pizza (nice crunchy crust, flavorful toppings), but with much nicer decor. Didn't try any of the pasta entrees, but the bruschetta was excellent, with all ingredients being very fresh. And the house-made cannoli is worth saving room for. Plenty of servers, all of whom were fast and friendly.

The large pizza and 10 wings for $20 here is a fantastic deal. I love wings a d their "hot" flavor for the wings is out of this world. Try this out if you haven't. Also other items on the menu, chicken parm, is outstanding and a lot of food.

Ciao restaurant is in a shopping plaza setting. There are numerous four-tops and booths. We were seated swiftly (restaurant was about 3/4 full) and quickly approached by our server, Dana. She was friendly and had good answers to questions about the menu.

We were brought nicely seasoned warm bread sticks.

Lasagna was a nice portion, rich in melted mozzarella topping, truly hot inside.

Mare & Monti is sausage, shrimps, scallops sautéed with roasted peppers in marinara sauce. It's supposed to be with penne, but I requested angel hair, which was approved with a smile. It was nice and hot inside. Portion size generous; will produce a second meal via to-go box.

Two of our diners shared a meatball sub with fries. It was sizable and tasty, but both the fries and the sandwich were only luke warm.

Entree pricing is in the $10-$15 range, reasonable.

We have been to Ciao quite a few times and everything we had was really good. I like their Pizza; the wings, salad and fried zucchini appetizers are all good. We just had the Chicken Parmesan and Eggplant Parmesan this past weekend and both were delicious. Prices are reasonable and food is fresh and hot when getting take-out. I would recommend.
