Was great fun to visit this place for lunch. Good food and friendly people. Burgers, etc. Old nostalgic place.

As always, great service, excellent meal choices and desserts. We were seated fast. Familiar staff faces are a plus!
A cute retro restaurant, just like you would imagine would be in Mayberry. . This is a burger place, typical menu, hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, even bologna sandwich. I thought the menu price was good.
Driving to North Carolina beaches, we stopped for the night. I read online about the birthplace of Andy Griffith and the Mayberry references . Quaint little town. We stopped at Barney's Cafe and both had a Barney Burger. It was very good and tasty. We ordered onion rings and a coleslaw, which were both good. Great prices. Go to Barney's if you are in Mt. Airy, NC
