I was so pleasantly surprised by all the touches of home that were provided in this cozy cabin. The welcome guide provided was fantastic! All the tips, recommendations, and directions you need for getting around were provided and gave us all the fun we needed while there. The location is wonderful. You are secluded and peaceful at the cabin, but located within close proximity to so many awesome sights and things to do. The ranch at the cabins is also an awesome place for families to just be able to play games together and have a great time outdoors in the beautiful mountain scenery! The hosts are so pleasant and accomodating, I don't believe anyone could go wrong by staying here! :)
This cabin is really great, but its really made for two people comfortably. The cabin says it sleeps 9, which is true, but I can not honestly imagine how 9 people could fit in the cabin at once comfortably, other than to sleep. We had 4 adults plus a dog with us for our weekend getaway, and it was fine, but really would have been more comfortable with two adults. There is a 4 seated dining table, but not a ton of seating in the family room area, just a couch that comfortable seats two. We were able to bring two extra chairs inside with us to sit and play a game together, but it was quite snug. There is one queen sized bed, the rest of the bedding is either a full size hide-a-bed or the air mattresses in the loft above, which are really made more for kids, as the loft is very short in height. Unfortunatley, we had a rainy day during our visit and didnt have much to do besides stay inside the whole time and with 4 of us, we got cabin fever fast after we had exhausted all of our reading, game playing and movie watching options. We did enjoy the shooting range, and enjoyed the fire pit our first night there. The owner, Debbie, was very nice and friendly. The cabin could use a good dusting especially along the windows and blinds, otherwise is was clean for the most part. The part of the cabin we enjoyed was the surroundings. It was very quiet, and very pretty outdoors. There were several hiking trails to pick from nearby.
The stay at Wagonmasters was wonderful. The hilltop cabin offered everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway. On top of the essentials, we really appreciated the hospitality of Debbie and her husband. Their thoughtfulness really shined through from the cleanliness of the cabin to the useful tips and guidelines to the surrounding area attractions. They even left a small gift for my boyfriends birthday! It was cool to read through their guestbook at all the previous visitors and see how many wonderful memories have been made there. We would highly recommend this place and we can't wait to come back.
We have a large family (7 kids) so to find a comfortable place to stay in a reasonable price range is hard for us. This was a quaint little gem nestled in a beautiful setting, fun affordable things for the kids to do (free mini golf w/stay in cabin!) The staff is very helpful with directions and things to do in the area and very informative about all details prior to booking. The cabin and loft were very clean and spacious even for our big family. The hill to the cabin was a bit precarious for our 15 passenger van but that's all part of the adventure!!!
Enjoyed the stay for my Mother's Birthday. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The proprietor was quite the friendliest also, which made it that much more enjoyable. We will be back!
