I love the pier. It offers a great view of the Nags Head beach. Great for fishing or just to take a walk over the water. Currently all three wind turbines have been damaged by storms but the pier is still a must visit on your trip to the Outer Banks.

The family and I walked here as we were staying nearby. It was a fun walk and pretty to see, but I didn't see the draw unless you could fish. The fish weren't biting so we didn't waste our money.

As an educator I appreciate what the pier offers to the public and will gladly pay a couple of bucks to walk out on the pier. It's a very well built structure with a lot of sustainable features. It's good to get out and see what, if anything, is biting and to just sit back and watch the ocean.
The inside has a small gift shop, snack area and some aquariums. There's a 'bathhouse' outside but it's always been locked whenever we've been there but my understanding is that it opens when there's little to no threat of freezing. Not sure why it wsa closed last June when we were there.

Stopped by and loved the pier. This is a very nice facility for fishermen or beach goers. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Very nice pier and great view kid friendly aquarium with gift shop! Fishing was slow so we didn’t pay to fish but enjoyed the nice walk!
