First visit to Dead Broke Farm. We did a 2 hour private ride. Staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Our guide, Ashley, was amazing! We had a wonderful time on well behaved horses. Scenery was beautiful; we even saw a herd of deer. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great day!

My boyfriend and I have been trying to find things to do since COVID has made finding fun activities extremely hard, thankfully we came across this gem of a spot! Not only is Dead Broke Farm outdoors which limits exposure, there are also precautions that are taken to keep everyone even safer. The entire experience was very pleasant and we had an absolute blast. The workers were extremely friendly and helpful and the horses were so sweet and obedient. My boyfriend had never ridden a horse before but using the demonstration and the workers advice, the ride went smooth as can be. The trail is extremely beautiful and peaceful and the experience of riding a horse is like no other. There’s even a cute little picnic area where you can come off of your horse for a rest or picnic. I would definitely recommend Dead Broke Farm for virtually anybody who has any interest in riding.

I’ve been coming to Dead Broke Farm for over five years now. The experiences from start to finish have always been extremely pleasant. Carla (the owner) has over 70 horses and it’s evident that each one is getting the attention and care they need. The volunteers and workers are consistently working to ensure the safety of others and the horses. Helmets are also readily available to kids under 18 and adults who would like to wear one. The demonstration is thorough enough to where even someone who has never been on a horse would be able to ride on the trail. As long as the instructions from the demonstration are kept in mind and followed the ride is amazing. Any question no matter how trivial it may seem is always answered clearly and proactively. The attention the riders receive from the trail guides from the minute they step on the farm to the minute they get into their cars is immaculate. All in all this is a great spot for families, couples, adults, and anyone who has any interest in riding a horse no matter the experience level.
