This bed and breakfast is only in it's first year but deserves to become a classic north Devon landmark. The rooms are elegant, immaculate and restful. The breakfast truly homemade and delicious.

We stayed here for 1 night as were in the area for a wedding. The B & B was lovely - we had a twin room and beds were really comfy, views were fantastic and the room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. We were made very welcome with tea and cakes on arrival and breakfast the next morning was exactly what you expect at a B and B. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The Old Bakery is run by a very friendly couple who are able to provide great advice for visiting the local area. The B&B is within a a 5 minute driving distance of both Croyde and Putsborough beaches. The village car park is across the road and allows free car parking. There are also 2 great pubs within walking distance that provide great food.

I stayed at the Old Bakery on my own for a few nights to get away from everything and take some surfing lessons in Croyde. The place was perfect for me - close enough to walk to the surrounding beaches along interesting country roads and coastal paths, but away from the crowds of surfers and families. Georgeham is a delightful little village, home and burial place of Henry Williamson (his grave is in the churchyard), with a useful Post Office/shop and a great pub with a friendly landlord in the King's Arms.

David and Pippa were attentive and helpful, giving lifts and advising on walks, and the breakfasts were amazing. My room was sweet, if a little small and slightly dark, but when my friend arrived for a night we were moved to a bigger room that had become available that had amazing views. The whole place is homely and clean.

Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 6 week old baby. David and Pippa were most accomodating and couldn't do enough to help. The place has been recently refurbished and the rooms are light, clean, airy and modern. There is wifi available as well as use of the garden, kitchen and lounge. We will definitely be staying there again
