We stayed in a Waggytail cottage, the accommodation was in need of a deep clean and update. For example, broken tiles, window locks hanging off, dust and dirt. I appreciate that we had a dog however for the price we paid my expectation was that we would have a clean cottage. We have stayed in many dog friendly accommodations and this has been the worse.
On arrival the four towels that have been left as clean were all dirty. This was easily rectified by the lovely on site staff.
Croyde itself is lovely, pubs in walking distance, good food however desserts for £9, thought that was excessive.
Croyde beach does not allow dogs however fabulous neighbouring beaches do. A visit to Dartington crystal was a highlight, well worth visiting.
