We were running a bit late and unfortunately for all the staff involved we arrived 10 minutes before the end of lunch.
As a result of our late arrival we were rushed into placing our order, and tried to be accommodating to the staff serving us.
Food was nothing special, in all honesty we could have found the food served at any mediocre pub establishment.
Seems the care of this industry is slowly eroding around us, this is the situation here.
We sat below cobwebs in the dining room, and sat at a window seat, looked like the Windows hadn't been cleaned for a while.
There was also a certain noise that interrupted the dining room, not sure if it was the toilet refilling, but it came from that area, wasn't pleasant.
The real nail in the coffin here was when the other four people at another table ordered coffee. The staff were more than happy to make them, but then made the customers carry them back to the table. They looked rather uncomfortable doing so, as most people would. This really got under ones skin as the staff had plenty of time and one truly believes that the staff hasn't been told by the management here they are in the service industry.
One truly hopes your visit is more enjoyable than ours was.
