Chose Rainbow Sea Resort initially for it's location to all the venues we would have to be attending over the weekend. We entered our apartment and the first thing that struck us was the view and the next was that all amenities in the unit was so well thought of. Nothing is needed if visiting and staying in these apartments if you have older children as we do. Close walking distance to the Rainbow Beach stores and eateries if the parents need/want a day off. Thank you Rainbow Seas Resort for contributing towards a wonderful weekend.

We booked to stay here for three days and liked it so much we extended by another day. The apartments are on the hill overlooking Rainbow Beach and the ocean which goes for miles. The view is fabulous and the apartment first class. Upstairs was the large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with wall to wall and floor to ceiling sliding windows plus a small study half bathroom. Downstairs was the enormous bedroom, walk in robe, large ensuite and laundry. There was a large balcony with comfortable outdoor furniture on both floors and the upstairs balcony also had a spa bath. The apartment had 2 TV's and a dvd player and the owners had thoughtfully provided binoculars and reading material. We didn't cook in the apartment but if we had chosen to do so, the large modern kitchen was well equipped and had a dish washer, microwave and coffee machine as well as a full cooktop, standard oven and ice dispensing fridge. If you need one there is a child's high chair. There was also a lap pool on the ground floor. The receptionist was very friendly and sent me a very helpful text with the details on how to access the key when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. The only constructive criticism I can think of is that at this price point, I think it is reasonable to expect free wifi. It was available at the apartment (organised through Reception) but for a fee. I used my own device/mobile data so don't know how much they charge. We loved Rainbow Beach and also loved the apartment. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: They all appear to be good. But we stayed in apartment 3 in the Ocean View building.

First impressions are powerful and opening the door into this apartment was certainly impressive! A very large kitchen, dining and living area with the sliding doors already opened up for us onto a vast deck with music playing through the sound system. Nice touch guys! We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and the service. Rainbow Beach is what it is - a tiny little Queensland seaside spot, 75km from the Freeway on a largely single lane road and 3 hours+ drive from Brisbane. There are no 5 star options here but an ideal place for retreat, rest and relaxation. Get down to the Surf Club for a decent Aussie lunch overlooking the beach (we had our first ever sighting of a whale while were there), or grab some simple culinary fayre in the little establishments around town. We ate at 'home' on the deck all three nights with a bottle or two of grape juice and the background music of the ocean waves.
We thoroughly enjoyed access with it's easy access to the beach and the town.
PS. WiFi never worked. But then again, we were supposed to be relaxing.

Room Tip: Three levels. The top two floors will have the best views.

Our apartment was very well decorated and planned with the layout perfect for capturing the views of the ocean from every room. There was a king size bed that was very comfortable. The views looked over the Rainbow Beach township to the north to Fraser Island and the east views were of the ocean. It was very quiet. We were a short walk to the beach, but away from the esplanade where you would get a bit of traffic noise. We could hear the sound the waves and restaurants were a short walk or drive. There was an infinity pool with views to the ocean.

Room Tip: All apartments had views of the ocean. We were on the second floor.

Very spacious apartments with undercover parking and pool. Very clean and well maintained facility. The furniture is also kept up to date. Our apartment had 2 levels of sea views over rainbow beach. Short walk to beach and town.

The staff are friendly and can help with booking local activities.

If you stay, try for apartment 11, it was awesome. ..
