What a great little find ... Being coming to Ararat for this event last 3 years and tried different spots .. This place is comfortable and convenient ... The lady who checked us all in was helpful and supplied Barbecue condiments ... We where very appreciative ... Value for money

The Ararat Colonial Lodge Motel.

The Landlady here is very nice and helpful. She is the first impression and that helps. Parking is excellent in front of the room. The room is equipped with Toaster, Kettle, microwave, fridge. Very spacious and the same goes for bathroom. Excellent WIFI, comfortable bed. Rooms seems to be soundproof. Room 5.

Breakfast must be ordered in reception the day before, and is served through a hatch in the wall. Worked for me, and the eggs are good.

Small pool, however clean.

Yes everything is dated, and I would have liked the room to be vacuumed more frequently.

Location is perfect. Next to shopping, Subway and many restaurants.

Be back? Yes.

Thank you for excellent service for a late arrival and the return of a forgotten item. This is a very comfortable motel with larger than average rooms in a quiet location away from the main truck route. The facilities were clean and the bed comfortable. For an overnight stop on a long journey, the Colonial Lodge is now our preferred choice.

Stayed two during the Christmas period. Location is good you can walk to rsl for dinner and the local park with a lake for a morning walk, also the supermarket is across the road.. it was amazing quiet a good thing for sleep. Beds are comfortable.
Service was friendly. The Rooms are clean, but look is 1970's.

The good points are clean, comfortable, and price. the bad point was really only the 70's look all exposed brick walls, blue floor tiles in the bathroom, and an old window rack air conditioner over the door. which struggled to cool the room

The question would I stay again, yes.
