Excellent location - quick walk into town, quick walk down to river and close to rail trail for bike rides. We keep returning to Big4 Bright year after year. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Our cabin was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Thank you to the staff for another wonderful holiday.

Small park but right in the heart of it. Beautifully situated along the river. Great facilities with their new camp/lounge area. Only major issue which staff seemed very ho-hum about was their disability lift to access their new lounge which is at least 40 steps to access.
So the lift, no instructions on it so when you get to the door to use it you can’t. So you leave person needing lift there, hope it’s not after 6pm (as reception closed) and walk to reception to see WT! Apparently there’s a key (which staff seemed unfamiliar with); so a staff member escorts me back to lift to demonstrate. Key goes in lock on outside of lift, turn key, door opens, remove key, Re-enter key in another lock in lift, turn key, press and hold up button til lift arrives at 1st floor, remove key. Take and keep key with you and repeat process to come down! REALLY!! The lift is for people with a disability or who are informed, the fact they are expected to go to the reception to get a key and return to the lift is appalling in itself. But the process. None of which is written down and so expect person using lift to remember that process. And no one had any idea what a person is to do, other than not use the facilities, once reception closed!
Reason for this is so kids don’t use it; poor excuse really.
The facilities are A1 and very clean. Coffee van morning and pizza nights all great.

My husband and daughter (1 year old) stayed in the Horsehair townhouse. It is described as a Luxury 3 bedroom with spa and mountain views. We choose this due to the bedrooms being downstairs and living upstairs. This meant we did not need to creep around during nap times or at bedtime.
It is very comfortable with everything you need (except dishwasher). Not sure I would described them as luxurious. As is expected of a caravan park, the fittings and the building itself is cheaply made. Meaning there are lots of creaks and little if any insulation in the walls.
It had a baby gate for the stairs which was great.
The location was the top selling point with no need for the car for the 4 days we were there. It is right next to the river and water park and coffee is not far away.
Would I stay here again.. yes. But only in the townhouse as it is away from the main park noise and worked well for us.

A great stay Pre- Christmas. It was quiet despite lots of people being there. The coffee van is great and the amenities block is amazingly clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back again.
