I booked 4 nights here through hotels.com. non-refundable. After the 2nd night, we booked a hotel elsewhere. We drove here from Connecticut. Checking in, the non-smoking room reeked of cigar smoke. There was a dirty towel on the floor and blood on the toilet seat. We were just too tired after driving to switch rooms. There was also a big brown spot on the sheets and blanket (see photo). The chain lock on the door is broken (see photo). There was a big blue stain on the carpet (see photo). The electrical socket next to the sink for the coffee maker and hair dryer didn't work at all, even after resetting it and trying all the light switches (see photo). We called the office after the first night to ask them to change the sheets. They came and made the bed while we were out. The brown stains were still there. The next day (today), we went to check out and the man at the counter said he personally made sure the sheets were changed. They obviously were not. I showed him in the room and he just looked for the housekeeper. He said he personally inspected the room and would give us another. No thank you. They got our money but we're not going to stay there, even for the rest of our prepaid nights. I dont expect a flawless stay, but when a customer asks to change the sheets, at least do that... don't just lie about it. Disgusting. I work at a hotel/resort and it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. Not how I wanted to spend my Thanksgiving. Posted on Nov. 22, 2018. Stay booked Nov. 20-24, 2018 in room #120.
